About the project

I’ve always wondered why we can customize everything in our lives now, but our phones are still limited to only a handful of colors? So I imagined Apple x Pantone: Step Into Color to explore how color and technology can work together as tools for self-expression, reintroducing play and individuality into Apple’s famously refined design language.

This experiential pop-up creates a world where Apple products are customized through Pantone’s spectrum, from soft pastels to deep, grounded earth tones. Two shipping containers are transformed into an immersive environment surrounded by colored glass panels, inviting visitors to discover, experiment with, and interact with color as a personal design choice rather than a decision made for them.

Rooted in the shared values of Apple and Pantone, the space is clean, natural, and modular. The result is a playful and intentional exploration of how color can deepen human connection to technology.
